    Hi Andrea. Love your blog! It has really gotten me into the Olympic spirit, and I am so excited to go and watch the torch relay in my hometown of New West tomorrow morning! I was wondering if you know where I might be able to find a list of torchbearers and the order they will be running in, like the celebrity list you posted earlier today, but for all of the torchbearers. Thanks!!

    😦 I actually never been to any olympic games myself, but hopefully i would one day 🙂
    How many olympics games have you went to?
    I admire you :p to say the truth…~ ~ it must be hard..maybe..

    One of the BLUE AVITARS or SMURFS……I drive for the IIHF at Molson Hockey House and am carrying my camera hoping to capture some magic moments in our Magical ELECTRIC city of Vancouver!

    Can you tell me when the Olympic Superstore will be staying open for the Para O Games? When is it scheduled to close down?

    I’d like to pick up shirt and hoodies , but haven’t had time to line up. Are these things still in stock?

      Hi Elisa,
      I’m afraid I don’t work at the Olympic Superstore anymore so I’m unsure what is in stock right now but I do believe that the store will remain open during the Paralympic Games, though likely at regular Bay hours instead of the extended hours they’ve had recently. I have to get in to grab a few more items too so let’s keep our fingers crossed more stock comes in!

    Hi 2010vanfan,
    I was searching for pins and came across your blog!
    I’m kinda bummed I didn’t come across it sooner, cuz it looks like you had a ton of cool tips on things to check out, contests & pin giveaways during the Olympics!
    But anyway, reading it now makes me reminisce about my experiences during the Olympics; it brings back all the good memories! So thank you! 🙂

    By the way, I see that you have a personal 2010vanfan.ca pin, do u still have some available?
    I would love to add that to my pin collection! (I only started collecting pins toward the end of the Olympics.. so it’s still a growing one but I’ve become so ‘addicted’ to pin collecting & trading these days! lol!) If you do have 1 available, I would love to trade with you! 🙂

    Hey Andrea,

    I really enjoyed reading your daily blogs leading up to and during the Olympics. It was wonderful dealing with you and updating you with pin info. I really appreciated you crediting my website http://www.pincollectorssite.com for Vancouver Olympic pin info.

    I don’t know if you remember. I sent you few pins, about five months before the olympics and you said that you would send me one of your 2010 Vanfan Olympic pins for my collection. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to forward me one of those pins? I never did get one. I know things got very busy leading up to the Olympics and afterward life and family caught up to me.

    I would really apreciate it if you could send me one of those pins to add to my collection.

      I don’t have any of the pins with me now, but I will send one off when I get back to Vancouver in March. I’ll contact you then.
