Team Power Smart members, new and existing, get a shot at this month’s 2010 Winter Games prize package now through August 31, 2009.

It’s all part of BC Hydro Power Smart’s bid to have 210,000 British Columbians signed up for Team Power Smart by the start of the 2010 Winter Games. Look for more monthly contests – we’ll be giving away tickets each month until February 2010.

Here’s how you can ensure you’re entered in this month’s contest:

Join Team Power Smart by completing the online form and committing to a 10% electricity reduction goal.

If you’re a BC Hydro residential customer who has already joined Team Power Smart before July 1, 2009, just log in to your BC Hydro online account anytime during the month of July and enter the promotional code: 2010E on the Team Power Smart page, and you’ll be entered in the contest.

If you’re not a BC Hydro residential account holder but you’ve joined Team Power Smart before August 1, 2009 by pledging to a 10% electricity reduction goal, you can enter by completing the online form on the Join Team Power Smart page and entering 2010E as the promotional code. Don’t worry. You’re not joining the team again – you just need to fill out the form to be eligible for this month’s prize draw.

In all cases, the Contest Rules and Regulations [PDF, 22 Kb] stipulate a maximum of one entry per Team Power Smart member during the contest period.

What’s the prize?

There are ten 2010 Winter Olympic Games prize packages, each will include two tickets to an Olympic event held in February, 2010.”

I’ve joined up! Have you? Good for the environment. Good for us. Good for the Olympics (good for us at the Olympics!).
